Solid, Authoritative Stereo Amp with Bridged Mono Capability

Get ready to take your music to new heights of realism. The 8300XP is a classic audiolab stereo power amplifier with a sound as clean and crisp as its minimalist exterior. Build quality and performance are exactly what you would expect from audiolab – exceptional all the way.

Delivering 140 watts-per-channel into 8 ohms, the 8300XP is capable of driving even the toughest loudspeakers with sure-footed authority. It combines audiolab’s class-leading neutrality with an unerring ability to engage the listener throughout a musical performance. In addition to its prowess as a stereo amp, it can also be used as a monolock amp.

"Very Well Balanced, Very Clean and Clear Sounding"

Tee-Jay The Stereo-Bargainphile in his YouTube review calls the 8300XP "a power amp that has that full flesh and body sound, good torque down low."

Tee-Jay goes on to say, "If I was going to recommend the 8300XP, it would be for someone who has at least an entry-level speaker up to high end to get the best bargain for your money. Added to that, another person I would recommend the 8300XP to is someone who was looking for an amplifier that was very well balanced, very clean and clear sounding altogether."

    Sleek, Minimalist Exterior

The sleek, assured look and feel of the 8300XP serve notice that this is a no-nonsense component ready to give its all with great authority. Exemplary build quality and reliability make it a power amp for all seasons and all types of music.

Its versatility increased by a choice of balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs. For best performance, we recommend using the XLR connections if they are compatible with your preamp, but the performance with RCA interconnects is stellar, too. Similarly, take advantage of the bi-wire speaker terminals if your speakers allow it. Also onboard is a pair of 12v trigger inputs for smooth system integration.

The internal circuit components are of the highest quality, right down to the power and signal wiring, which is made of ultra-pure OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) copper – all at the service of minimizing distortion and maximizing sonic clarity.

    Flexible Operation

In addition to its power output of 140 watts-per-channel RMS into 8 ohms, the audiolab 8300XP can also crank out a beautiful sounding 230 watts-per-channel RMS at 4 ohms. Flexibility is further enhanced by the ability to add a second 8300XP and operate in bridged mono mode, thus increasing the power output to 480 watts single-channel operation at 8 Ohms. All audiolab amplifiers are gain-matched, so you will have perfect integration with other audiolab components in your system.

Thrilling to listen to and utterly dependable, the 8300XP is a genuine audio thoroughbred – the perfect partner for audiolab’s 8300CD disc player or the company's peerless M-DAC range.
