For the best connection use spades. They offer the most surface area in contact with the binding post for maximum signal transfer and minimum resistance. These fit 1/4" to 5/16" binding posts and accept up to 12 AWG speaker wire. Spades measure 0.55" wide by 0.06" thick. Crimp and/or use silver solder.
