Pure Audio Performance and Exhaustive Feature Set
The Aurender A30 does it all, expertly. It's a caching music server, music streamer, CD ripper, full MQA decoder DAC, and headphone amplifier with HDD storage.
The A30 is the flagship model from Aurender’s range of analog output digital music players. Like Aurender's A10 and A100, the A30 is at its essence, a caching music server / streamer with internal storage along with intuitive control via the Aurender Conductor app. The Aurender A30 also includes full MQA Decoder technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams, delivering the highest possible sound quality of the original master recording.
The Comprehensive Digital Focal Point of Your System
What distinguishes Aurender's A30 from other servers and streamers is its pure audio performance and exhaustive feature set. Aurender has designed A30 to be the comprehensive digital focal point of your system providing useful capabilities not usually associated with a typical music server. It includes functions like CD ripping, a high-quality headphone amplifier, 10TB of internal storage, ultra-wide color LCD display, and an integrated software suite of metadata editing and library management tools. All this, and much more, makes the A30 the new performance standard in all-in-one digital source components.
One-Touch CD Ripping
If you have a large library of CDs that you are itching into convert to digital files, the A30 is exactly what you need. Well equipped with a tray-loading, industrial-grade CD-ROM drive, the A30 will rip your CD to your choice of FLAC, WAV, or AIFF codecs for playback after conversion. The easy one-touch CD ripping also provides meta-data and cover art retrieval with a unique user determined target folder depository feature. AccurateRip™ technology is supported for 100% error-free rips. Additionally, the ACS10 provides software support for Acronova “Nimbie” AudioLoader for automated CD ripping.
Network Connectivity, USB Connections, Analog Audio Outputs, Headphone Outputs
The Aurender A30 support Network Attached Storage (NAS) and USB storage. For network connectivity and streaming, the A30 comes with one double isolated Gigabyte Ethernet port and two USB 3.0 data ports. The dedicated USB audio output has ultra low-noise power circuitry.
On the analog side, the A30 offers balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) audio outputs. The built-in headphone amplifier has three jacks, consisting of 1 x 4-pin XLR and 1 x 4.4mm balanced output 1 x 6.5mm unbalanced output.
10TB Music Storage and Solid-State Drive Cache for Playback
A 3.5” enterprise-grade HDD internal hard drive provides 10TB of storage and a 480G solid-state drive is used to cache music for playback. 8GB (DDR3) is provided for system memory.
An ultra-Wide 8.8” color IPS LCD display provides album art view when ripping and all system data on functions when in use. Metadata editing and library management software is available for computer-less library management. A Smart Copy feature allows for easy transfer of music libraries from other network attached devices and can perform duplicate file removal.
Heavy Hitting Internals
The Aurender A30 is packed with heavy-hitting firepower under the hood, including a discrete linear power supply with “super capacitor”-based uninterruptible power supply (ups) for stabilizing the unit under an abrupt power outage condition. The power supply boasts five individual toroidal power transformers for the server, digital functions, the dual DACs, and the headphone amplifier.
The dual-mono DAC uses dual-mono linear power supplies, with a 768 kHz / 32-bit Next-Generation Flagship AKM AK4497 DAC chipset. It's a full MQA decoder DAC. It offers sampling rates for PCM up to 768 kHz / 32bit, DSD up to 256 DoP, and native DSD up to 512. The FPGA-based precision data reclocking system uses a sub 100fs world-class jitter-reducing clock generator.
Increased Stability, Reliability and Overall Performance of Operation
The Aurender approach has always emphasized custom integration of software and hardware. When these elements are indivisibly engineered in-house, the company's components achieve increased stability, reliability and overall performance of operation. This approach is key to Aurender and sets Aurender's products apart from outmoded methods of running music software on a computer or powerful processor and using IT peripherals for storage and other purposes.
Intuitive Control with the Aurender Conductor App
Control and music management of all Aurender models is via the Conductor App, hailed by users and reviewers alike for its performance and intuitive operation. The iPad-based App was developed in-house with managing large music databases in mind, providing exceptionally fast browsing and searching of your favorite music.
In-app TIDAL and Qobuz integration provides access to these subscription-based services and to the millions of tracks available in CD quality or better. Internet radio support is via SHOUTcast.
A separate app, A30 Manager, equips the A30 with software programs for metadata editing and digital file management, allowing you to combine, organize and correct metadata in the way you desire. For peace of mind, remote Technical Support is accessible via the Aurender Conductor Application.
