Great-Sounding Single-Driver In-Ceiling Speakers
In-ceiling speakers designed to squeeze into small spaces or be used in multiples for diffuse, background sound are really difficult to get right. If the driver is too small, there won’t be enough bass without adding a bulky subwoofer, but the common alternative is a two-way system, where the tweeter sits in front of a small bass/midrange driver.
The problem with this kind of two-way system is the driver fires around the tweeter’s body, inevitably leading to coloration. The Bowers & Wilkins CCM632 in-ceiling speaker uses a single 3" full-range driver with a beautifully well-balanced sound. It sidesteps traditional small speaker issues, yet it still takes up less than 6” diameter space installed.
Designed for Performance and Ease
The CCM632 also features Bowers & Wilkins new and innovative ZipDogs™ fixing method. These make short work of installation and cope with almost any thickness of mounting panel.
Each speaker comes with an integral enclosure to minimize acoustic bleed into adjoining spaces. Also included are round and square magnetically fixed, and fully customizable, grille/bezel assemblies.
