The dust cover is a table-top cover that fits over the entire turntable, including the chassis, and is for use between music listening sessions. It measures 17.7" wide, 5.8" high, and 15" deep. A pair of cutouts on the bottom edge of the dust cover facilitate lifting, holding, and placing it.
