This Clearaudio cover has been designed to totally cover the entire turntable (including the platter, motor, and arm assembly) to protect against common airborne contaminants, including dust, dirt, and pet hair. A small cutout on the bottom of the right and left sides makes it easy to lift the cover on and off, and it also accommodates your cables.
