The Virtuoso wood-body phono cartridge was one of Clearaudio's highest acclaimed moving magnet models. The new Virtuoso V2 improves on the previous model with an ebony body and other advancements. Minimal distortion, flat frequency response, and a high output voltage provide a vivid and tactile musicality. It offers a level of performance more akin to expensive moving coil cartridges than a moving magnet model.
The Virtuoso V2 has a wide-band frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, 4.0 mV output voltage, and channel separation of >30 dB at 1 kHz.

Clearaudio V2-series MM cartridges feature a resonance-optimized ebony housing. In comparison to the company's critically acclaimed Aurum series, the V2 series offers less coloration and more natural sound, more powerful magnets for greater dynamic range, and higher output voltage for lower noise levels.
