Premium Cardas 4181US Duplex Outlets
The Nautilus features three pairs of renowned Cardas 4181US outlets for a total of six power connections. This duplex power outlet features rhodium over silver plating on all contact surfaces and provides an excellent grip, even on heavy power cables. The Cardas 4181US outlet is among the finest audio-grade power outlets on the market and it was specifically designed for the Nautilus Power Strip project.
Point-to-point Wiring with Cardas Grade One, Ultra Pure Conductors
Internally, the Nautilus is point-to-point wired with Cardas Grade One, Ultra Pure 10 AWG Solid Core Conductor and Cardas Grade One, Ultra Pure 11.5 AWG Multi-Stranded Litz Conductor. RFI/EMI protection is provided on every outlet, and a star-ground design terminating to a 1 kilogram pure copper ground plate. This is the same RFI/EMI ground filtration that Cardas uses on its own flagship power cables.
The case echoes design features from the original Cardas Golden 6A Power Strip, manufactured in the mid-1990’s, which was the impetus behind the Nautilus.
