Innovative Balanced Power Amp with Bridged Mono Mode
This compact chassis contains a formidable power amplifier. The muscular AMP-F2 was developed in collaboration between the Starke Sound team and the Eversolo team. It is based on the innovative NS600 amplifier module created by Starke Sound.
The AMP-F2 boasts a high sampling rate of up to 600KHz. Simultaneously, it significantly reduces noise and enhances dynamic performance through the newly designed SAPS audio-specific switch power supply. This highly agile amp employs an efficient Class D amplification structure, coupled with optimized circuits to maximize audio quality.
Vigorous, Flexible Output Ability
The AMP-F2 is bridgeable, allowing flexible configuration for two-channel or mono-channel setups when needed.
Equipped with Starke Sound's NS600 amplifier module, each channel can output a constant 250W RMS (45) @ 1% THD+N. When bridged, it can support up to 450W RMS (202) with THD+N still below 1%. This ability to handle extremely low-impedance loads ensures ample energy even in large and challenging speaker setups, particularly in cases incurring high-dynamic low-frequency outputs.
The NS600 module employs PurePath Ultra-HD technology and advanced integrated feedback design, featuring high-speed gate driver error correction functions. This technology achieves ultra-low distortion across the entire audio frequency range, delivering exceptional high-end audio quality.
Essential Connections
The balanced design of the AMP-F2 provides a pair of XLR balanced inputs as well as a pair of single-ended RCA inputs. The premium output terminals consist of two pairs of beryllium copper binding posts custom-made by Starke Sound.
The AMP-F2 is equipped with standard 12-volt Trigger In and Trigger Out functions, allowing it to be synchronized with other devices that support the standard Trigger interface for power on and off. Using the USB to Trigger adapter cable provided with the AMP-F2 Streamer and DAC (not included, sold separately), you can connect the USB Type A interface of the DMP-A6 to the Trigger In of the AMP-F2 to achieve synchronization.
'Green' Design
For 'greener' operation, the AMP-F2 has an extremely low standby power (0.5W) and idle power consumption (14W), complying with the European Union ErP standards.
The specially designed shielded aluminum chassis uses an anti-interference design to avoid disturbances from various electrical environments.
