Super Powerful Audio Engine
The proprietary EOS (EverSolo Original Sampling-rate) audio engine developed by EverSolo engineers, outputs the original sampling rate, providing audio playback that completely bypasses the Android SC restriction. EOS also supports the direct audio output of third-party apps (e.g., Apple Music hi-res direct output).
The DMP-A8 decoding section uses the third-generation XMOS 316 audio processor paired with the flagship DAC AK4191+AK4499EX, enabling it to support decoding up to DSD512 and PCM 768kHz@32Bit, also ensuring the D/A conversion with extremely low noise and distortion. Fast processing speed and superior bandwidth ensures lossless transmission for high-definition audio data.
Among its many features, the DMP-A8 incorporates a robust DSP processor that supports DSP volume control, PEQ, FIR Filter, HPF/LPF, Loudness Enhancement, Compressor, and Delay.
Advanced Media Management System
The DMP-A8 offers a comprehensive media management system that enables copying, pasting, cutting, deleting files from local hard drive and network storage. USB Type-C port can be configured as USB OTG mode, making it easy to connect PC to DMP-A8 via USB cable for local file copying and management.
An SMB sharing function allows the sharing of files from connected mobile device or internal SSD to other media playback devices, computers, or mobile devices in the LAN. This allows the DMP-A8 to be used as a network storage device for sharing audio sources at any time.
Multiple Network Protocols
The DMP-A8 has two high-speed USB 3.0 ports, an SSD slot for local storage expansion, and it also supports NFS, SMB v1/v2/v3, and UPnP sharing protocols. This allows you to browse and play multimedia content saved on NAS or network drives connected in the same LAN with gigabit network. Even high data rate DSD512 master files can be played without stuttering.
CD Playback and Ripping
The DMP-A8 supports CD playback from your own connected external USB CD player or transport. The CD Rip app adopts a data validation mechanism and error correction function to save audio data from C, loss-free. The application's algorithm intelligently matches CD album and song names (officially re- leased CDs are required), losslessly rips tracks, and automatically generates album and artist info.
Fully-Balanced Preamp Circuit
With the DMP-A8, there is no need to invest in an outboard preamp. The analog circuit adopts fully balanced design from DAC chip to the XLR and RCA stereo output. It provides better noise immunity, improving channel separation by eliminating shared loops for stronger and more consistent signal quality. It also features a + 10dB analog gain and, when combined with the R2R analog volume control network, ensures ultra-low noise and distortion for the output.
R2R Volume Control Circuit
A fully balanced analog volume adjustment circuit network composed of precision resistors and relays achieves accurate volume control, effectively suppressing distortion and noise in the analog signal.
This circuitry also features volume protection, automatically reducing excessive volume to the designated safe level during startup or input interface switching. The incorporation of R2R analog volume control ensures that the DAC can operate at its optimal state continuously.
Versatile Master Quality Playback and Decoding
Almost all ultra-high sampling master recording formats are supported, including CD-quality formats (FLAC, WAV, APE), DSD512, and MQA.
Included is onboard MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording.
Large 6" Touchscreen and Control Knob
Equipped with a large 6" LCD high-definition touchscreen, the DMP-A8 has a professional streamer system, simple but exquisite user interface, as well as on-screen intuitive touch controls for system settings, local music library and third-party apps, it runs smoothly as a mobile phone.

Wide Ranging Connectivity
The DMP-A8 can be used as a 'digital turntable' to connect with various high-end DACs by HDMI IIS, USB, optical, and coaxial outputs. As a DAC, it supports a wide range of digital inputs, including two coaxial, two optical, and USB B.
As a high-performance preamplifier, it supports analog inputs XLR and RCA. It also supports APTX HD Bluetooth audio, making it easy to connect with a plethora of digital audio sources. It can be directly paired with active speakers or power amplifier via RCA and XL analog preamp outputs. The trigger out port can link to your power amplifier systems for easy system integration.
The IIS output can connect to DACs with IIS input. This connection supports PCM 768K and DSD512 with the highest sampling rate.
The HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) input can be connected to display devices such as TVs and projectors that have HDMI ARC capability. This allows the separation and transfer of audio signals from the HDMI signal to the DMP-A8, providing a TV with the highest quality sound.
The built-in Bluetooth audio receiver is based on the Qualcomm QCC5125 module. It is Bluetooth 5.0 and supports SBC, AAC, aptX, apt LL, and aptX HD/LDAC Bluetooth audio protocol.
Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect, DNA, and AirPlay are supported by the DMP-A8. High quality music can be wirelessly streamed online to mobile devices in the same LAN, make it simpler to enjoy online music services and easier to play back music at home.
Music Library for Local Playback
The EverSolo Music Library not only provides excellent local music playback performance, but it also simplifies music management. It can add local music files from a local hard drive or network storage. It can also automatically retrieve music metadata from the cloud to build a custom music library by matching artists, albums, a local CUE file, and more.
Songs are displayed in categories based on genres, albums, artists and sample rates, making it easy to generate a list of your favorite songs and searching for them by album, artist, or song initials.
Add Your Own SSD
It's easy to add onboard storage. An M.2 NVME 3.0 2280 SSD slot allows you to install an SSD without dissembling the device. Faster, stable and lacking noise, this is the key for optimum high-quality local music playback. The maximum storage is 4TB. Additionally, external storage devices can be connected to the USB port.
Dual High-Precision Clocks
The DMP-A8 incorporates two ultra-low phase noise femtosecond high-precision clocks for audio decoding (45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz), corresponding to the decoding of 44.1kHz and 48kHz multiplied sampling rates respectively. This effectively suppresses Jitter, ensuring highly accurate conversion and decoding of digital-to-analog audio signals The end results are ultra-high dynamic range and resolution for analog audio output and the retrieval of real sonic details from the music studio.
Dual Power Supplies
To eliminate any trace of interference or noise between the system circuit and the audio circuit, and to enhance sound purity, dual power supplies are used for the control circuitry and the audio circuitry.
The linear power supply is composed of a multi-winding toroidal transformer, specifically designed to match the characteristics of analog audio circuits. The high-quality switching power supply is tailored for the system circuit. It significantly reduces ripple and magnetic leakage interference, providing strong support for high-quality audio processing. Furthermore, it incorporates a patented smart switching technology for the linear power supply voltage input, automatically enabling compatibility with voltages worldwide.

The DAC setting provides six types of digital filters, with different modes corresponding to different sound characteristics, which can be chosen according to personal preferences.
For professional-level quality, the primary elements of the audio circuit are excellent, including WIMA capacitors from Germany, NICHCON dedicated audio capacitors, Murata chip capacitor and Omron relays from Japan, and TI Audio Operational Amplifiers from the USA. Smart Control App and Wireless Remote
An Android / iPhone / iPad control app has been developed for the DMP-A8. In addition to basic playback control and local system settings, the app interface can asynchronously view data from the music library, system applications, and menus. It can browse and play built-in streaming services through the control app, making it very convenient for both on-music playback and music data viewing.
A remote control with infrared and Bluetooth dual-mode support is also provided. The DMP-A8 also adds a trigger output, allowing it to control the power-on and standby of your power amplifier, eliminating the need to manually turn on the power supply. WOL (Wake on LAN) is also supported to power on and off remotely, which is needed to connect the DMP-A8 to a wired network.
