Grado Sound and Crazy Great Features Go Wireless

The GT220 in-ear wireless headphones mark a milestone in Grado's seven decades of audio. The GT220 were years in the making, because Grado didn’t want to rush the process of creating a compact and versatile wireless headphone with such vocality and depth. Easy to take with you or enjoy at home, the superb sounding GT220 is ready whenever you are.

    Signature Sound

The sound quality of the GT220 is pure Grado all the way. The midrange response is neutral and musical without any coloration, while the bass is definitive with excellent extension. The high frequency response is natural without any stridency. Grado gave all the drivers an equal amount of love, spending as much time as it needed tuning and fitting its signature mini-drivers for these innovative headphones.

Here's cool little feature, too. Give each headphone a twist to 'lock' it while you're wearing them. The GT220 can create a tight seal in your ear, which plays a major role in sound reproduction.

A Day (and a Half) in the Life

Battery life is a major focus for Grado. With up to 36 hours of listening on tap, the GT220 are up for anything from a subway ride to work to your next coast-to-coast flight. The wireless headphones hold up to hours of playtime per charge, while their very clever carrying case can charge them up to five times before the case requires recharging. That's a great feature!

    Wireless Charging

Don’t give up a precious USB cable connection when Grado puts a wireless charger on the table. The talented GT220 case has both USB-C and wireless charging options. Whether you’re throwing it on for a quick charge before you rush out your front door, or you're plugging it in overnight, the choice is yours for ultra-convenient, extremely versatile charging.

    Music, Voice, and More

The GT220 has a bifurcated capacitive touch system. That's a fancy way of saying that both of the earphones have different control funcitons. The left side controls phone and voice. The right side controls music playback. Grado also included a full volume control for when you’re half-awake on a flight and don’t feel like taking out your phone to fiddle with the settings.

"These stripped-down wireless earbuds sound and fit better than most of the competition."

"This won’t surprise anyone who has had any experience with Grado, but they sound stunning. Grado's signature mini drivers gives these buds bass like nothing I’ve ever heard before."

    - Adrienne So, Wired, February 1, 221

"The GT22s are exactly the true wireless earphones that Grado fans would want, with a tonal balance that closely mimics the sound of Grado’s open-back headphones."

"Grado probably could have had a hit if it just bought some generic true wireless design, slapped its logo on it, and turned the bass down a bit in the DSP. But it appears to me that the company put a lot of work and thought into making this product something its customers would love, and in my view, it succeeded 1%."

    - Brent Butterworth, SoundStage! Solo, January 1, 221

"...Grado have knocked it out of the park and created what I would consider a great all rounder suiting most genres and a genuine audiophile True Wireless IEM. I hereby award The Grado GT22 The Audiophile Cafe 5 star rating and a massive thumbs up for releasing what I consider a game changer."

    - The Audiophile Cafe, October 23, 22

"Grado finally enters an already saturated market, and immediately leaps to the top of the class, thanks to an impressive sound, great controls, and a lightweight build."

"The GT22 will peer deep into a song’s mix and extract every last scrap of information."

    - Simon Lucas, TechRadar, October 22
