"Best Sounding Bluetooth Headphone I Have Heard, Period"

A true hi-fi planar magnetic headphone goes wireless with HiFiMAN's Ananda-BT. With any wired headphone, you are faced with a series of questions. What amp and DAC should I use? What about cables? With the Ananda-BT, the only question is what to listen to next. And for those times when Bluetooth isn't available, the USB connection lets you plug into your computer for unequalled sound quality.

The audiophile-grade Ananda-BT with HD Bluetooth technology gives you up to 24-bit / 192 kHz via USB and up to 24-bit / 96 kHz via Bluetooth with its high-quality DAC and powerful balanced amplifier.

"Totally Changed My Expectations of Bluetooth Headphones"

"The Ananda BT is the best sounding Bluetooth headphone I have heard, period," raves Marcus at headfonics.com. ""Much of that has to do with the quality of that excellent planar driver inside including the open back design."

"The standard Ananda model sounds very good and I was quite impressed with its performance when I tested it. The BT version retains the same characteristics and puts up a marvelous performance," reports Berkhan, headfonia.com.

"I will say once more that these are the best bluetooth headphones I have ever heard, by a long way," notes SenyorC, head-fi.org. "[It] has totally changed my expectations of Bluetooth headphones and what they really could do."

    High-Resolution Bluetooth Streaming

For high-resolution Bluetooth streaming, the Ananda-BT supports APTX-HD, HWA and LDAC lossless HD Bluetooth codecs. The internal, custom-designed amplifier is the perfect match for currently available HD Bluetooth codecs. Ananda-BT uses the same DAC filter design and analog circuit from the engineers who created HiIFiMAN’s standard-setting high-end R2R2000 HD Bluetooth / USB DAC / Digital Audio Player.

    NEO “Supernano” Diaphragm (NsD)

HiFiMAN's Fang Biang has long been on the front edge of planar magnetic design technology. Ananda's NsD NEO supernano diaphragm is 80% thinner than previous designs, resulting in a faster more detailed response while retaining lush musicality never before possible. At between 1 to 2 microns thick, the NsD diaphragm sets all new standards, allowing you to hear what you've previously been missing.

    Window Shade Grill Design

The "window shade" grille design reduces sonic reflections for clearer sound. It has been painstakingly optimized to avoid any resonant frequencies. This leads to superior aural purity, tonally clean and unadulterated. At the same time it provides practical protection for the amazingly thin, highly responsive diaphragm. It also contributes an appealing visual aesthetic.

    Asymmetrical Ear Cups

Ananda's asymmetrical ear cups are designed to follow the natural shape of the human ear for comfortable listening for extended periods. And the earpads are exceptionally comfortable. In fact, Mel Martin at Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity reports, "The HiFiMan Ananda headphones are extremely comfortable to wear; really the most comfortable headphones I’ve tested."

    Hybrid Headband Design

Ananda boasts a carefully designed weight dispersing strap, allowing the headband to afford outstanding levels of long-term comfort. The sleek and sumptuous matte black finish is combined with a metal construction for maximum durability.

    A Wide Range of Applications

With its superior wireless and wired connectivity – and high quality built-in DAC – the Ananada-BT supports a wide range of applications. Listening wirelessly, it offers a seamless Bluetooth connection to computers, tablets, and smartphones. Wired, it lets you connect to a computer with a USB-Type C cable for unequalled sound quality from your favorite audio files.

And there's more! There's always more from HiFiMAN. Gamers, podcasters, and vloggers will sound better than ever with the included plug-and-play microphone. And included is a solid travel case that enables you to take your Ananda-BT with you wherever you go.

"The Ananda BT is the best sounding Bluetooth headphone I have heard, period. It edges out the high-end beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless and slays the consumer Sony and Bose flagship BT headphone equivalents."

"Much of that has to do with the quality of that excellent planar driver inside including the open back design. The rest is down to the amplification topology inside to drive it combined with the LDAC/HWA codec decoding ceiling."

    - Marcus, headfonics.com, April 5, 2020

"The standard Ananda model sounds very good and I was quite impressed with its performance when I tested it. The BT version retains the same characteristics and puts up a marvelous performance, and you start to wonder how better wireless headphones can get in the future."

"The Ananda BT sounds very clear, detailed and natural with good sense of warmth. The headphone does lots of things correctly, and I personally couldn’t find an obvious weakness in its presentation, considering it being a wireless headphone."

    - Berkhan, headfonia.com, September 26, 2019

"I will say once more that these are the best bluetooth headphones I have ever heard, by a long way, and I want a set…"
