"Tighter Bass Response"
The IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R200Sub Acoustic Isolation Stands upgrade the performance of subwoofers used in professional studios, project studios, and hi-fi and home theater settings.
Like all the IsoAcoustics stand models, the ISO-L8R200Sub is designed to clean up acoustic issues with your subwoofer, allowing the sub to literally float with all movement on-axis, preventing the low frequencies from being driven into the supporting surface. You’ll hear more punch and clarity from your subwoofer.
According to Michael Lavorgna's AudioStream.com review for July 18, 2014, music with the IsoAcoustics stands "became at once more focused with tighter bass response and improved imaging. It was as if someone fine-tuned the 'resolution' control snapping the musical picture into sharper focus… I admit that I did not think they would make such a clear and positive improvement. But they did."
Combine Additional Units for Larger Subs
Measuring 7.8" wide by 10" deep and 4" high, with fixed height and tilt, the ISO-L8R200Sub is designed to accommodate most subwoofers. It can be used as a single unit, or combined with additional units for larger subwoofers.
The ISO-L8R200Sub features the same patented technology as the entire family of award-winning IsoAcoustics Acoustic Isolation Stands. It is suitable for subwoofer and speaker cabinets weighing up to 75 lbs. per unit. For larger applications, additional units can be used. Ensure that the weight is evenly distributed and does not exceed 75 lbs. per unit.
Standing up for the Science of Acoustics
A premier audio experience depends not only on the quality of your speakers, but also on the way they are set up. Ever take home a set of speakers that sounded spectacular in the showroom only to find something missing? IsoAcoustics stands use the science of acoustics to help you get the richest, most high fidelity aural experience out of your home audio system investment.
Acoustics is a science. Sound needs to be free, unencumbered by surrounding surfaces and its own physical placement that muffle and distort the music. The solution to the problem of getting the pinnacle of sound from your speakers is to develop an isolation that recognizes and responds to the individual energy of your speakers. More primitive technology exists to improve the sound but doesn’t maximize it. There are many solutions available to improve sound quality but IsoAcoustics maximizes sound to its ultimate level.
