The iPurifier3 is now bigger in size and sports improved parts to enhance sonic performance even further. It packs a punch with built-in proprietary REclock / Regenerate / REbalance Technology to improve music flow. Active Noise Cancellation 2 lives up to its name by canceling all incoming noise.

Active Noise Cancellation
In its third generation, the iPurifier3 has a further optimized version of its much-acclaimed and award-winning ANC2 (Active Noise Cancellation2) system adapted from military radar defense technology. Emulating the way in which air defense radar technology works, iPurifier3 identifies noise frequencies then generates identical but opposite frequencies, which actively cancel all incoming noise.
Air defense radar is transmitted at a certain frequency. When the signal bounces off the aircraft, a receiver on board the aircraft picks up the signal and a computer analyses its base frequency/modulations, and an identical, but out-of-phase signal is then generated to cancel out the enemy radar signal.
By generating a signal identical to the noise signal but in the exact opposite phase, ANC completely cancels all the incoming noise. ANC is the perfect 'antidote' for power supply noise, which is the bane of USB audio. With ANC the power line is filtered for RF noise. The measured noise floor of 0.5uV (0.0000005V) is at the measurement limit of the Audio Precision equipment.
Using ANC, the background and inner resolution to recordings is no longer hidden. Sonics are much smoother, just like how good analog should be.
Three-in-One Reclocking
Made for all downstream DACs, REclock is a 3-in-1 feature that re-clocks, re-generates and repeats the USB audio data stream. For any and every downstream DAC, REclock technology eliminates jitter. Music flows better, sounding cleaner, deeper, and tighter, just like the real thing.
A core element of the original iPurifier's success was Rebalance, which has naturally been carried over to the iPurifier3. By removing the DC offset and 're-balancing' the USB audio signal, it is now perfectly balanced. As it purifies the USB audio data stream, this means noise is significantly reduced.
High-Quality Components
High-quality components are used throughout the iPurifier3 circuitry, include OS-CON capacitors, which have a low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR), excellent noise reduction capability, ideal frequency characteristics and a long lifespan. Polarized Tantalum electrolytic capacitors have superior frequency and stability characteristics, giving them a super high volumetric efficiency.
High-precision MELF Metal Electrode Leadless Face resistors provide excellent accuracy, stability, reliability, and pulse load capability. And new copper-alloy shielding safeguards against EMI, isolating devices and cables to block radio frequency electromagnetic radiation.
