Expertly Hand Terminated
Audio Advisor goes the extra mile with cable termination. Each Cardas 101 Speaker cable is hand terminated using the highest-purity WBT Silver Solder by Audio Advisor's expert terminator and veteran technician, Randy Kaboos, who has over 30 years of termination experience. Then each cable is hand tested to ensure quality.
The cables are then color coded with the highest-grade heat shrink to ensure proper installation.
After Randy hand-terminates the cables, he packages them in a simple sealed plastic bag instead of a fancy box, hence the name "No Frills" termination. You won't get a fancy box, but you will get a great sounding cable at an unheard of bargain price!
High Quality Spade Or Banana Termination
Both the banana and spade termination are made of high quality copper with a gold plating. The bananas are a BFA-type with expanding contact area. The barrel on the bananas is chromium-plated. The spades are a 'double-notched' type, which will fit either 1/4" or 5/16" binding posts with ease.
Performance Way Beyond Its Gauge (And Price)
Cardas 101 is a 2 x 14-gauge cable with an outside diameter of 0.365”. It features two 14 AWG bare copper Cardas conductors, each built around a small air-tube, providing performance beyond its gauge – not to mention its price point.
