Stereo Sound from a Single Speaker
Helos 22 features dual tweeters and a dual voice coil woofer. This design allows the speaker to provide stereo sound from a single speaker, making it ideal for use in small rooms such as bathrooms, small offices, entryways, and kitchens. Helos 22 also bridges to deliver mono sound reproduction with wide dispersion. You can use Helos 22 for almost any application.
High-Performance Design
Helos high-performance in-ceiling speakers are ideal for use in multi-channel home theaters, in kitchens as two-channel stereo speakers, and in hallways as single-channel distributed audio speakers. The Helos 12 and Helos 22 deliver legendary MartinLogan quality and performance in compact, high-resolution in-ceiling loudspeakers. Featuring aimable neodymium soft dome tweeters, high-rigidity aluminum cone woofers, and proprietary Vojtko crossover topology, Helos 12 and Helos 22 effortlessly provide extreme sonic accuracy.
Both Helos models feature an ultra-low profile, micro perforated grille with no visible bezel. And they are paintable for near invisible integration into any ceiling. A magnetic system secures grilles easily into place, reducing the risk of warping or damage during installation.
Designed to Aim at the Listening Position
Helos 22 features a high-resolution neodymium tweeter assembly mounted on a pivoting tweeter stem that easily aims at your primary listening location. This design allows you to enjoy the highest levels of in-ceiling audio performance, while still providing rich, detailed sound throughout the entire room.
Installer Friendly
A robust mounting-lock system allows quick, trouble-free installation. When not in use, the constant-control mounting locks are held securely within a self-contained housing. When moved into place during installation, they couple the speaker's chassis firmly to the ceiling. And if the speaker is ever removed, the locks retract and latch themselves back in their housings.
Each Helos 22 speaker comes with a full-size installation template that features quick-reference instructions, and die-cut guides for marking the cutout hole.
