Continuous Uninterrupted Dish Drivers
Unlike conventional driver cones, Monitor Audio's C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminum/Magnesium) RST (Rigid Surface Technology) bass and midrange drivers take the form of a continuous uninterrupted dish. Strengthened by a uniquely dimpled surface, their greater area radiates more sound, and driven by a larger voice coil and motor, delivers greater efficiency and a cleaner, more accurate response.
For big sound in a compact package, the C265-IDC features a 6-1/2 inch C-CAM bass driver and a pivoting IDC module, housing a 4-inch C-CAM RST inverted midrange driver and a 1-inch C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter. The pivoted housing lets you direct the sound toward your listening position for precisely focused listening. Tailor the sound to your liking! Optimum imaging and set-up are further established via a high frequency (+3 dB /0 dB / -3 dB) level adjustment switch and boundary compensation (on / off) controls.
