Sorbothane Visco-elastic Polymer
Audiophiles around the world recognize Sorbothane as the leading material for absorbing and cancelling vibrations that can adversely affect audio and video performance. Sorbothane is a visco-elastic polymer. Although it's a solid, it behaves like a liquid in relationship to vibrations. Unique Shape Improves Performance

Optimum Weight Range
Pangea Sorbothane feet have an optimum weight range where they are most effective in absorbing and cancelling vibrations. Once the maximum weight is exceeded, the material is no longer effective unless more Pangea Sorbothane feet are added.
The recommended weight range for a set of four Mega Feet is 40 to 80 lbs per set, making Mega perfect for larger components. For source components and other lighter gear, we recommend Pico Feet.
