One user said about the design that adding shelves was as easy as changing a light bulb. Just flip the Vulcan upside down to add shelves from the bottom or remove the top caps and add a shelf to the top.
Most self-assembly racks aren't very rigid. Thanks to the unique design of the Vulcan, it is extremely stable and strong in addition to being acoustically neutral. This shelf is not designed to fit other audio rack systems.
Holds a System's Worth of Components
The Vulcan solid Parawood shelf is 23.75" wide, 18" deep, and 0.8"-thick. The Parawood sustainable tropical hardwood shelves are assembled in an attractive butcher block-style construction that emphasizes the beauty of the wood grain, then the shelves receive a durable, hand-polished clear semi-gloss finish. The front and sides of the shelves are contoured for a streamlined look.
Each Vulcan audio rack individual shelf supports up to 75 lbs. per shelf. The height between shelves is 7.25" and the width between shelf supports is 19.4".

The open-air design is best for your electronics. The design maximizes component ventilation and makes it easy to install or remove gear. The four steel support tubes feature scratch-resistant and resonance-resistant silver-finish powder coat paint.
Package contains: One 23.75” wide by 18” deep by 0.625” thick vinyl-wrapped MDF shelf plus four 7.25” steel support tubes.
