The NuPrime LPS-212 is a low noise, clean power, fully balanced El-frame architecture linear power supply designed for audiophiles.

Low power devices such as DAC, streamer, CD player, media server, and digital music player are susceptible to AC noise from switching mode power adapters that usually come with them. However, not any linear power supply will suffice as a replacement for the switching mode power supply. You need a power supply specifically designed for audiophiles.

A Multi-Pronged Approach to Reducing Power Supply Noise

The NuPrime LPS-212 linear power supply incorporates a fully balanced El-frame transformer architecture design that is less susceptibility to core saturation from DC offset, which is a common culprit when it comes to noise in the audio chain.

NuPrime takes a multi-pronged approach to reducing power supply noise. Several features contribute to the effectiveness of the LPS-212 as a hi-fi power supply with clean and stable output power designed for audiophiles.

The LPS-212 uses a low noise MOSFET design with an EMI filter to combat electromagnetic noise that can piggyback on your audio signal with a lesser power supply. The soft start and fanless design contribute to the low overall noise. The full transformer epoxy resin package avoids vibration interference. The low dropout linear output offers additional noise-fighting circuitry. The large capacitance output is higher than 35,000 uF.

Additionally, the LPS-212 provides overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, over-temperature protection, and lightning protection to help safeguard connected gear and provide the cleanest on-spec power for best sound.

An LED status display indicates for Standby, In-Use, and Protection status. Two outputs are included: 1 x DC 12V/2A and 1 x DC 12V/1A.Both outputs use 5.5 X 2.1 female connectors. Total power output is 36 watts.
