Advanced Technology, Sleek Design, And Incredible Performance

The PSB Imagine T65 is the largest floorstanding three-way tower speaker of the Imagine Series. It strikes an ideal balance between advanced technology, sleek design, and incredible performance.

The T65 features a three-way dual bass reflex design with dual rear slot ports akin to the PWM Series and individually tuned woofer chambers. Its driver complement starts with a 1" titanium dome tweeter with ferrofluid neodymium magnet. The 5.25" midrange and dual 6.5" woofers each have a woven carbon fiber cone with rubber surround.

The result is a remarkable ability to reveal incredible tonal detail over a wider frequency range than any of its Imagine Series counterparts.

A Symphony of Form and Function

The Imagine Series embodies the perfect balance between design and acoustic performance. Featuring a slim, minimalist cabinet design and available in Satin Black and White, the speakers add elegance and refinement to any decor. The aluminum trim and chamfered edges create visual interest without being distracting and makes them a perfect complement to the premium PWM Series on-wall speakers for a high-performance home theatre system.

    Flagship Technology

PSB went the extra mile with Imagine. All three Imagine models inherit the same flagship-grade technology that adorns PSB’s prestigious Synchrony and PWM speakers, ensuring every component meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

The Imagine tweet exploits an advanced, highly linear, and remarkably efficient neodymium-magnet design derived from the flagship Synchrony series. It helps to extend output at both frequency extremes for effortless, airy top octaves and smooth, uncolored response through the critical crossover region coupled with high power handling.

Midrange is Where the Music Lives

The majority of musical information is reproduced in what we call the midrange. It sounds a little boring next to woofers and tweeters, but the range between 200 Hz and 2,000 Hz contains most of the musical information related to pitch and timbre of instruments and voice. It just happens to be the most sensitive range for our ears, too.

The Imagine T65 uses a specially developed 5.25" midrange driver and tunes and isolates it in its own sealed chamber. The result is a lifelike presence that is palpable. The 5.25" size has a nearly perfect combination of low distortion, high output capability, and ideal dispersion over the desired frequency range, allowing it to integrate smoothly with the woofers and tweeter.

    Premium Sound, Exceptional Value

The Imagine Series is a testament to PSB’s long-standing commitment to offering the highest ratio of performance for value in loudspeaker design. This collection showcases three exceptional models: the B50 2-way bookshelf, T54 3-way tower, and T65 3-way tower. Each model exemplifies sophisticated design, powerful detailed sound, and advanced technology, to ensure that every music enthusiast and audiophile can experience the satisfaction of premium sound.

    Advanced Crossover

Like nearly every PSB Speaker design, the Imagine networks employ fourth-order acoustic Linkwitz-Reilly crossover topology. It combines discrete drivers into cohesive acoustic entities with minimal impact in either amplitude domain (frequency-response) or that of time (phase-response).

    Bi-Wireable / Bi-Ampable Binding Posts and More

The T65 has additional high performance features. Select components and careful layout maximize signal transfer and keep static and dynamic distortions well below meaningful limits. Heavy, all-metal multiway binding posts on all Imagine models accept bare wire, lugs, banana plugs, open and closed spades, and enable bi-wiring or bi-amplifying.

Aluminum outrigger bars provide maximum stability. Adjustable spikes allow precise leveling and isolation from floor-borne vibration.
