An Instant Upgrade for Turntables and Phono Preamps

The Power Box S3 Phono has two DC power outputs that are specifically engineered to power Pro-Ject turntables (15V DC only!) and phono preamps (18V).* If you have a compatible turntable and/or preamp, you are in for a listening treat when you upgrade to this sophisticated, filtered power supply.

Sophisticated DC power filtration allows your turntable and preamp to perform their best. Expect greater speed stability from your turntable and a lower noise floor from your phono preamp, amounting heightened clarity and resolution in analog playback. The metal enclosure of the chassis helps block RFI/EMI for greater signal purity.

Reduce Power Cord Tangle, Too

In addition to the sonic improvements, Power Box S3 Phono has another benefit that may not be as significant as the audio upgrade, but it is a nice plus. The Power Box also helps with cable/PSU management by eliminating the need for turntable and phono preamp wall-wart power supplies. One less power cord can make a welcome difference.

*Note: This product is not compatible with Pro-Ject X8, Xtension 9, Xtension 10, Xtension 12, RPM 5, RPM 9, RPM 10 nor Signature Model turntables. For these turntables we recommend Power Box RS2 Phono or Power Box RS Uni TT power supply upgrades.
