Innovative Vertical Tracking Turntable
A vertical turntable? Is it even possible? Pro-Ject's innovative VT-E vertical tracking belt-drive turntable lets you place a turntable where no turntable has gone before. It uses a special mechanism for perfect tracking in a vertical position plus a record clamp to hold your LP securely in place. And it sounds very good, too, offering the audio performance that you expect from Pro-Ject.
In his September 29, 2016 review for thevinylfactory.com, Anton Spice reports, "The presentation is quite focused with an impressive precision within the upper mids. Strummed guitars will impress, for example, while banks of strings are infused with air and space while the bass has the admirable element of impact."
The VT-E boasts a low vibration synchronous motor with a DC power supply, a. 11'8"-diamter, 1.8 lb. MDF platter with felt record mat, a stainless steel platter, and a high quality 8.6" aluminum tonearm. Easy manual speed change lets you play LPs and 45s. The interconnect cable with gold-plated RCA connectors comes pre-installed.
Ready to Go Right Out of the Box
Pro-Ject's VT-E turntable proves that turntable setup doesn’t have to be rocket science. Installation is a breeze since everything is pre-adjusted and ready to go right out of the box. Tracking and anti-skating force are carefully set so no further set-up is required. This great sounding belt-driven 'table even comes in two separate versions for either a left-handed or right-handed user, making it especially convenient to operate.
Includes Ortofon OM5e Phono Cartridge
Pre-installed on your VT-E is an Ortofon OM5e phono cartridge. This nicely performing MM moving magnet phono cartridge has elliptical shaped stylus that provides balanced and distortion-free playback. Music you've heard many times takes on new dimensions with the OM5e.
The VT-E can be positioned either freestanding on a table or wall-mounted using the included low-profile metal bracket.
The VT-E turntable is available in matte black, red, or white finishes and in right-handed or left-handed configurations.
