Beauty, functionality, and performance-enhancing design come together in the sleek quadruple-width Quad 245 cabinet from Salamander Designs. It holds plenty of gear, with two full cabinet doors, an open center shelf for a center channel speaker or other storage, and beneath that, two small cabinet doors.
A full 87" wide, the Quad 245 will support the largest flat-screen TVs up to 80" and weighing up to 200 lbs. It is 21" high and 19.75" deep, giving you lots of room for the heart of an impressive home theater system.
Perforated Steel Door Panels
The Quad's perforated steel door panels are 'invisible' to IR remotes, so you can operate your AV gear with the doors closed. The perforated panels also facilitate air flow compared to totally 'closed' cabinet styles.
Rear panels leave openings for wires and contribute to the airflow. Adjustable-height feet make it easy to level your Salamander Quad 245, and they also help isolate your sensitive electronics from room vibration.
Strong Support and Lots of Storage Space
Anodized aluminum posts create a strong support skeleton. Solid wood door frames with perforated steel inserts add to the strength and rigidity.
Each of the two full-size cabinet doors open to a 19.75" wide, 17.75" high, and 18" deep storage space. The lower cabinet doors conceal a 19.75" wide, 8.5" high, and 18" deep storage space. Two height-adjustable interior shelves provide a 'custom fit' for your gear. The doors have soft-close dampeners and remove easily for better in-cabinet access when adding or removing equipment. The open center shelf, which is perfect for a center channel speaker, measures 41" wide, 8.5" high, and 18" deep.
Modular Design
Modular design lets you add features and functionality to your Quad 245 by adding such options as internal shelf lighting, an internal cooling fan, and more.
The Quad 10 is 87" wide, 19.75" deep, and 21" high. The top platform is 87" wide and 19.75" deep.
