The VPI HRX Record Clamp can help improve the sound of any quality turntable by effectively coupling your vinyl record to the platter. The HRX reduces the minute vibrations created by the stylus tracking the groove. These unwanted vibrations can be picked by the stylus and cause distortion which gets in the way of the details you want to hear.

The benefits of the HRX can be particularly noticeable when playing record where bass vibrations or high frequency resonances are an issue. And because the HRX reduces LP slippage, it can help reduce stylus and record wear, extending the life of both.
